Three Serbian citizens caught with 11kg of marijuana in Gjilan

In the police's announcement, it becomes known that the operation was conducted Wednesday by the anti-drug units from Pristina and Gjilan.

Kosovo's “Police, anti-drug units from Pristina and Gjilani during an effective co-operation in their fight for the prevention and combat of unauthorised property and trading of narcotics, have carried out a successful police operation yesterday, where three (3) suspected male nationals of Serbia have been arrested and suspected of over 11 kilograms (11kg) of narcotics <x1.

“Pristina's Narcotics Unit after accepting operational road information that a narcotics trading will be carried out in the town of Gjilan has taken operational action on the field where they managed to identify a Mercedes-type Serbian license plate car, which was parked in a location. Then there came another Golf-type car, in which there were three (3) people, and out of this car a person who was sitting behind and approaching the suspected Mercedes car. Antidroga officials have taken immediate actions to identify and control the suspected person (P.S) citizen of Serbia and, during the search to meet me in the trunk of Mercedes vehicle, two large packages have been found in which three black bags were wrapped, allegedly containing suspected substances like marijuana”, police reports.

On the other hand, it becomes known that in the home of one of the suspects, two guns, a clip, and several bullets were found and confiscated.

After inspecting suspected persons and cars involved in consulting with the competent Kosovo police prosecutor, he also searched the house of one of the suspects in Gjilan and during the work of the raid and control there have been found as material evidence: A (1) pistol (C. Zastava, 9mm), One (1) caricator (with 142 rounds to 9m), one (1) pistol (without inscription) and thirty-four (34 bullet-magnum, call 44m)”, police suggest.
