During the meeting with local level, Jasharaj said all teachers are willing to start learning on September 1st.
We don't have official information about delaying the school year, it might have been somebody's idea, but we don't know. What I can say is that at a municipal level meeting, they have expressed readiness to start the new school year on September 1st. The position of the SBASK is that we will act on the recommendations of the Kosovo National Public Health Institute, the Ministry of Education and the Government of Kosovo”, Jasharaj said.
Jasharaj added that, if state institutions estimate the lesson will be postponed, they will respect the decision, meanwhile, said they are willing to start on September 1st.
Otherwise, the media are reporting that the new school year will be postponed until 13 September.
