Deadly flames that have erupted throughout the country have forced tourists to flee, while the sky has become red.
Agriculture and Forests Minister Bekir Packemirli said 119 of the 125 firebeds that have broken out in the 32 provinces since July 28th have disappeared or taken control, but another 7 sites continue to burn.
So far, 8 people are reported dead, while hotels have closed doors and tourists and residents have been evacuated from Bodrum and Marmaris on private boats, managing to escape the flames, the TCC reports.
Investigators are trying to determine whether some of the fires were deliberately caused, while one person has been detained by police.
