Halimi has been formalised as a candidate after joining the subject several months ago. Its arrival in the party formalised President Lumir Abdixhiku.
She has said it is love for her hometown, which has prompted her to run for mayor.
It's a city that deserves to be built a program for those excited people for their future. I will try for a different Ferizaj which will be built on a great synthesis and love I have for Ferizaj”, she said.
Local elections in Kosovo will be held on 17 October. Ferizaj's current chairman is Agim Aliu from the PDK, who will run for another term. Meanwhile, VV has not formalised any candidacy in any municipality.
