Contact with the plane that was rented by Russia to help extinguish the fires was lost, said province governor Kahramanmaras, Omer Faruk Coskun.
He said a large number of search-saving teams were sent to the scene. The cause of the plane crash is still unknown.
A video on the social network has been published where the plane is in action and then it hides behind a hill. Soon behind the hill is black smoke in the sky.
