Afghan Ambassador to Tajikistan Mohammad Zahir Aghbar has accused Afghan President Ashraf Ghan of leaving the country with bags full of money. According to him, Ghan made up $169 million.

Similar claims come from the Russian Embassy in Kabul. According to this embassy, Ghan fled the country with four cars and a helicopter full of money.

The embassy's spokesman, Nikita Ishchenko, reportedly said the regime's co-operation was mostly marked by Ghan's flight from Afghanistan. Four cars filled with money until they tried to put other parts of the money in the helicopter but couldn't get everything. Some money was left on the street”.

However, Ishcenko did not publish any evidence that would confirm the charges against Ghan.

Meanwhile, Afghan President Ashraf Ghan has confirmed Wednesday that he is in the United Arab Emirates, but added he is in consultation to return to Afghanistan.
