Asked by YouGov whether they had a good opinion of Merkel, most responded with a positive verdict in the six states where the survey was conducted.
The veteran Chancellor, who worked since 2005 when she was elected to four American and French presidents, five British prime ministers and eight Italian prime ministers, received a rating of +61 in Spain, +49 in France and +30 in Germany, reports the Guardian, sent Periscope.
Opinions in Italy, the US and United Kingdom were less positive with +23 in the first, +17 in the second and +15 in the third.

Only Joe Biden approached Merkel's popularity.
