Prime Minister Edi Rama has inspected Student Residence No. 2 to take a closer look at conditions in student buildings while talking about sheltering Afghans. Rama said the delay in the arrival of Afghans could lead to a change in their housing plan and they would no longer be accommodated in QS dormitories. Regarding the student extraction from the premises, Rama said that this window of time is simply being used since they are not numerous students in number.
“Although the arrival of Afghans is being postponed due to logistics there and the postponement of flights so it may not be necessary if the other structures we have prepared the season. But in all cases it's important to make it clear that it's a matter of removing students and bringing in Afghan refugees, but it's designed to use this time window that are students”, Rama said.
