From this organization, they have reaffirmed that there is nothing that reasons for killing women. It highlights criticism of those who tend to relativize crime, demanding the motive that led to this
Every time a man killed a woman, there is a tendency to seek the motive that led to the murder. You're saying that it's not enough that someone took someone's life in a cruel way. One reason is required to reason with her husband. Jealousy is often used as justification and legitimacy for the murder of woman”, says the QICA response.
Communications issued yesterday by the Foundation Court in Ferizaj concerning the murder of Marigona, which says there is a well-founded suspicion that defendant Dardan Krivaqa has brutally killed with poor motives jealousy Margona, due to the suspicion of <x0-tradition with the uncle's son of”, by QICA, described as extremely problematic.
The “Comunikata came shortly after holding the hearing for a review of the request for the detention assignment, during which there is no need to confirm the suspicion based on the motive of carrying out the criminal work. We consider that although the court's findings in this case may not present legal violations, such a statement by the tribunal conveyed the wrong message and contained completely insignificant information to the public at this phase of judgment. There's no excuse for killing women!
Every time a man killed a woman, there is a tendency to look for the motive that led to the killing. You're saying that it's not enough that someone took someone's life in a cruel way. One reason is required to reason with her husband. Jealousy is often used as justification and legitimacy for killing a woman.
Communications issued yesterday by the Foundation Court in Ferizaj concerning the murder of Marigona, which says there is a well-founded suspicion that defendant Dardan Krivaqa has brutally killed with poor motives jealousy Margona, due to the suspicion of “treason with the defendant's uncle's son” is extremely problematic as approach. The communication has come shortly after holding the hearing for a review of the request for the detention assignment, during which it is not necessary to confirm the suspicion based on the motive of carrying out criminal work. We consider that although the court's findings in this case may not present legal violations, such a statement by the tribunal conveyed the wrong message and contained completely insignificant information to the public at this phase of judgment. It is the duty of each public institution, in this case of the court, to be aware of its role and influence in its context, especially given public attention to this case and the generally acceptable phenomenon of gender-based violence in Kosovo.
In a society where a husband is considered the one who preserves and maintains family morality, such statements from an institution only deepen the thought that jealousy is an excuse for violence and murder.
The use of jealousy as an excuse for violence represents the abuser as the victim of <x0-love passionate with uncontrollable emotions” and tends to reason/understand, while violence exercised against women who are actually victims is at risk of being seen as something deserved. This further normalises violence as an integral part of family and social reports and reinforces the standard the husband owns and controls the body and life of the woman.
We invite responsible institutions to take the case seriously. We dare not allow such a wrong approach with or unwittingly influence the legitimacy of women's murders. On the other hand, we call on the media to report directly to the case in question, it's disturbing that “differences about treason” were the central titles during yesterday.
Murders are not justified!
