He through a Facebook writing said his departure was meant to avoid a bloody flood.
I faced a difficult choice today. I must stand in front of armed Taliban who wanted to enter the palace or leave the country that I devoted my life to protecting the past 20 years. If there were still countless martyred fellow countrymen and they were faced with the destruction of the city of Kabul, the result would have been a major human disaster in this city of six million people”.
The Taliban have led me away, they're here to attack all of Kabul and the people of Kabul. To avoid the bloody flood, I thought it was better to leave the country. The Taliban are now responsible for protecting the honor, wealth and self-confidence of their fellow countrymen”, Ghan said.
Afghanistan's president said they are now facing a new historical test.
“A did not gain the legitimacy of hearts. Never in history has power given legitimacy to anyone and will not give it to anyone. They are now facing a new historical test either to defend Afghanistan's name and honour or to take priority in other countries. Many people fear for the future”, he said.
On the other hand, he added that it is necessary for Taliban to provide all people, nations, different sectors, sisters and women of Afghanistan to gain the legitimacy and hearts of people.
Make a clear plan and share it with the public. I will always continue to serve my nation with a plan for development. Long live Afghanistan”, he's done.
