Thank God and the work of many people, we now have vaccines that protect us from Coronavirus”, the leader of 1.2 billion Catholics said through a video message.
“Vaxing is a simple but wonderful way to promote common good and care for each other, especially those most vulnerable. I pray to God that everyone can contribute through the little gesture of love”, the 84-year-old Pope said.
Coronervirus vaccines are accessible in many wealthy countries, but the reluctance and distrust of them have resulted in many unexplored persons.
Many poor nations, on the other hand, have limited access to vaccines.
“Vaxes give us hope of ending the pandemic, but only if they're accessible to all and if we work together”, said Francis, who is known for promoting social and economic equality.
The pope was vaccinated in March.
He has described the vaccine as “geter of love”.
“Love for self, for families and society and love for all”, he said.
