Pentagon keys: We will take measures against those who carried out the attack in Kabul

General Kenneth “Frank” McKenzie, head of the US Central Command, is working to determine who stands behind the deadly attack at Kabul Airport. “We are working hard now to determine the guilty, to determine who is related to this cowardly attack and we are prepared to take action [...]
“We are now working hard to determine the guilty, to determine who is related to this cowardly attack and we are prepared to take action against them -- 24/7 we are asking for”, he said.
Twelve members of the US Army were killed and 15 others were injured in the attack, McKenzie said. In total, more than 60 people were killed and at least 140 injured, according to Afghan health officials.
He also said that evacuation of people is continuing.
We're continuing to bring people to the airport. We just brought a number of buses to the airport in the last two hours. We'll keep processing and getting people out. The plan is designed to operate under stress and under attack. And we'll coordinate to make sure it's safe for American citizens to come to the airport. If it isn't, we'll tell them to keep and work other ways to get them to the airport. We will continue to take them out by the end of the month, “he said.
McKenzie also said officials expect the attacks to continue and “we are doing everything we can to prevent those attacks. ”
