PDK accuses Government of internationally blocking Kosovo

The Democratic Party of Kosovo is accusing Kurti of blocking the country internationally. The largest opposition party calls it exclusive to the political spectrum Prime Minister Kurti's approach in the report in dialogue with Serbia. As long as, it criticises him that he broke <x0... PDK MP Blerta Deliu-Codra says the country is in a “status qou” internationally, according to her, Kurti is one of the rare prime ministers going to dialogue meetings, without a platform and without reporting in the Parliament.

It's about Kosovo Prees, also talks about Monday's parliamentary debate in the Parliamentary Assembly, the government's response in the case of disasters that occurred in the country last weeks, and the need for lowering airline ticket prices for our fellow countrymen.

Kosovo has been blocked internationally. We have no international movement in empowering Kosovo's international subjectivity....10:23 The country is on the status quo internationally. I understand that in relation to Serbia we would have to be very powerful in such forms, as it is about an aggressor trying to block Kosovo. But this approach of Mr. Kurti rules out the next political spectrum”, says Deliu-Codra

PDK MP says Prime Minister Kurti is divided in relation to the opposition for dialogue, however, urges the government leader to communicate more within Kosovo's institutions for dialogue and modalities for reaching the final agreement.

“The prime minister is divided in relation to the opposition. What he needs most is to communicate within Kosovo institutions and report such meetings where he represents the state of Kosovo. It is among the rare prime ministers, if not only, that meetings of such forms go unreported to the Assembly, without discussing the meeting format within the Parliament and without returning to report on the balance of these developments for the country. We have not seen such prime ministers rule out the Parliament. That's what we said at all meetings. Prime Minister Kurti's party has always criticised for not being transparent. I mean it's one of the non-transparent governments we've seen in the last few years”, she says.

Speaking of Monday's parliamentary debate, Delu-Codra ranks the failures, which, according to her, have conveyed Government in these months of government.

Subsequent governments have brought their 100-day report to the Assembly. They have volunteered to talk about their work and their commitment for 100 days. For the first time, we have a Government that does not bring a 100-day labour report and engagement to the Kosovo Assembly. As a result, we have expected at its beginnings each will be the commitment of the ruling party to make the change it has promised. We have seen what has characterised Kurti government are the many scandals, which are already known. I'm just mentioning the 5 euro ticket that has been the major scandal of this government. Let me not then speak because there are many other issues about how this government has operated with tenders a source. A scandalous approach of government to harm citizens of the country”, she says.

In addition, Deliu-Codra requires greater government response in cases of disasters, as happened with the accident of fellow countrymen in Croatia, poisoning over 1,500 Decani residents and floods from rainfall.

“We have expressed our concerns because it's really been a tough month this one has been taking place. Of the poisonings in the Decani municipality, where more than 1,000 citizens of that municipality were poisoned and demanded a greater institutional response from the ruling party. And of course, we've criticised the approach of the prime minister who for two weeks had his official agendas... and we also have calls from people who have been affected by the many floods due to the rainfall and changes that took place in the country due to hail and rain rains. There should be greater government mobilization to offer support to farmers”, Deliu-Codra claims.

She adds that the government should review the cost of the financial issue facing its countrymen, especially with airline travel tickets.

The government must review once again the cost of the financial issue facing our fellow countrymen, especially multiple airline tickets. Then we also have such cases which naturally hurt severely not only Kosovo, but also international friends”, she says.
