A statement by the Palestinian Health Ministry says: “passed a 12-year-old life to Hasan Abu en-Neil, who was wounded on 21 August by Israeli soldiers' bullets during participation in peaceful protests in a country near the border of Gaza”.
Israeli soldiers intervened with real bullets and gas bombs on Palestinians who protested last week on Gaza's eastern border against Israel because of the 52nd anniversary of the Al-Axa Mosque's burning.
The Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza had announced that 40 Palestinians, including 20 children, were injured during the intervention and that one of the two seriously injured people was later lost.
The statement revealed that one of the seriously injured is also 12-year-old Hasan Abu en-Neil, who was injured in the head.
Comfort message from Hamas
A message of comfort published by Hamas about the death of the Palestinian child says: “God-merciful Hasan Abu en-Neil. We express our condolences for his family. The pure blood of our martyrs in the Gaza Strip under the blockade proves that our people are free, resisting and persistent in their territory”.
Among other things in the message is the emphasis that war with the enemy will continue until the end of the conquest throughout the territory of Palestine. / AA
