Olti Curry: I feel compelled as Albanian not to use war pain as a banal topic

Goran Bregovic's arrival in Albania is no doubt one of the most controversial topics of this week that sparked numerous reactions and controversy.

Many of the Albanian artists called for the boycott of the Beer Party, while some of them also canceled their participation in the event, as was the case with Capital T and Dafina Zeqiri.

Meanwhile, there has not been a lack of a response from opinionist Olti Curri, who through a published Facebook post, says Bregovic has been singing since 2006 in Albania and even Edi Rama, the mayor of the time, handed over “to the town's”.

Olt continues to write, saying Bregovic is Bosnian, while telling everyone that they should first be informed and then continue with attacks on him.

They'd be confident to the patriotic artists if their clips were dressed in T-shirts with Ismail Kemal's face, or Adem Jashar and not with the logo Gucci & Fendi.

When their clips were made at the Skenderbe Museum in Kruje, the House of Prizren League, or the Royal Independence Ballcon, and not above yachts and pool villas. They'd be trustworthy if they organized free concerts for every national holiday in Kosovo and Albania. Patriotism is like breathing, you have parts of life everywhere and whenever you ever, not when you're bad with clicks and on Independence Day when the Jamaican sings, you're wearing lines of <x0.
