MSh: We have enough capacity for any epidemiological situation

The spread of the variant “Delta” has increased citizens' interest in taking up the vaccine against Coronavirus, so Health Ministry spokesman Faik Hoti has said. Good luck to the last few days, we see there's an increase in the citizens' interest in vaccinating against Avid-19. In this respect, we believe that it has affected the spread of the Delta variant in Kosovo because up to 70% of the cases that result positive with Covid come from variant Delta. Also in the increase of interest, various warnings that may have different restrictive measures can also affect citizens if they do not respond to the vaccine process. But despite the vaccine process, health institutions should be available for any option. From previous experiences, health institutions know to be loaded when there are numerous cases of Coddy-19. But there is no alternative other than to prepare for both hospital capacity and continue with the vaccine process as the only way to go against Avid-19”, Hoti told Online Economy.
According to him, what remains distressing is a number of citizens who are reluctant to be vaccinated.
Hoti said the vaccine is the only option to deal with any epidemiological situation that may emerge next.
The Ministry of Health has managed to provide enough doses for any citizen to be vaccinated against Avid-19. What remains distressing is a number of citizens who hesitate to take the vaccine. We call on everyone to vaccinate because it's the best way to protect against Coddy-19. Health institutions have the capacity to manage any situation, but it requires the cooperation of citizens with health institutions and professionals. Most of the cases requiring hospitalization are cases of citizens who have not passed Covid or been vaccinated. The vaccine is the only option to deal with any epidemiological situation that may appear below”.
