The news reports say they are in good condition and are not at risk.
“The MPJD is continuing the intensive commitment even during today to identify and help Kosovo citizens in Afghanistan with the aim of leaving as soon as possible”, it is further said.
The MPJD called on all of our citizens in Afghanistan to be notified on the plus383 emergency line 45 492 316, to get needed instruction and assistance as soon as possible.
The government of the Republic of Kosovo remains committed to providing all available means together with international partners until the evacuation of all our citizens from Afghanistan”.
Otherwise, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has not indicated the number of Kosovo citizens in Afghanistan.
A day earlier, it was announced by the presidency that Kosovo has expressed readiness to house the Afghans who have co-operated with the United States temporarily.
Long ago, the US had announced that by August 31st, they will withdraw from Afghanistan, while the Taliban entered the Afghan capital, Kabul on Sunday.
Afghan President Ashraf Ghan has fled the country, and according to him, to stop the bloodshed there.
