Australian media report that the 27-year-old suspect worked for eight months at the “Bankstown-Lidcombe” hospital, the BBC writes, broadcast Express.

But the hospital said she found out she wasn't registered to the medical staff accreditment body in the country. Police in the New South Wales area have launched investigations into the case.

A hospital spokeswoman said through a statement that a worker engaged in hospital from January has been immediately relieved of duty when authorities realised Monday that it was not accredited.

The statement adds that the suspect was fully supervised all the time he worked at the hospital located southwest of Sydney City.

According to medium 7NA, the woman who worked at the hospital had failed her last exams and had forged her documents to engage as a young doctor.

She may face charges of fraud, though so far there is no action by the prosecution.
