Local elections, 29 political subjects applied to CEC

The CEC is also working during weekend days to accept the application of political subjects for local elections to be held on 17 October.

CEC spokesman Valmir Elez tells of Kosova Prees, that the CEC has accepted 29 political subjects, where during them are political parties, ten are civic initiatives and another thirteen are independent candidates.

He also adds that the total number of these subjects are 34 candidates for mayors, as well as 474 candidates for municipal municipalities.

Elez adds that by noon today, the CEC has accepted about 6,000 applications from the diaspora, where some 5340 apps and 600 other applications are rejected.
