LDK accuses LVV of “cate” of AKP Board

The Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) has today accused the ruling Vetevendosje Movement of continuing with the capture of independent institutions, including the AKP Board, of the same institution that had warned it of extinction. In a response to the media, the LDK stresses that instead of extinction, the Vetevendosje Movement decided on the new party militants in Bord. [...]
In a response to the media, the LDK stresses that instead of extinction, the Vetevendosje Movement decided on the new party militants in Bord.
“S at least three new members of the Board are party members of the Vetevendosje Government; two of whom were former candidates for MPs; who had failed to be elected in advance. We invite the Kosovo Assembly to refuse capture. We invite civil society organisations, media and international organisations to raise their voices against such phenomena”, the LDK stresses.
Furthermore, the LDK recalls that the logic of politicising the areas of government through grasping it with party militants, in addition to being illegal, is also morally wrong, and that such a practice against legally independent agencies is already the common practice of the popular government that capture and nepotism has turned into cause.
“The logic of politicising all areas of government, through capture of it with party militants, except it is illegal is also morally wrong. Such a practice against legally independent agencies is already the normist government's common practice that capture and nepotism has made the cause”, the response concludes.
The Kosovo government today has approved the decision to propose the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo candidates for directors of the Kosovo Privatisation Agency Board.
Prime Minister Kurti, during the proposal for this decision, has said that a radical change in the status of the Kosovo Privatisation Agency has also been presented in the governing programme.
“in line with our constitutional and legal responsibilities, we are proposing today to the Republic of Kosovo Assembly Board of the Kosovo Privatisation Agency. We expect that the new board will take measures to stop the processes, which we already as Government have preceded, demanding their halt”, Prime Minister Kurti said.
Candidates for directors of the Kosovo Privatisation Agency Board are: Nazmi Miulovci, Syzana Dautaj-Surdul, Mentor Hyseni, Vjollca Jashari, Violet Arifi, Krasniqi, Xevdett Neziraj, Halim Mucholi and Avni Aydin.
