Kurti: Only when we reach each other can we open up to our neighbors without taking risks

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has sent his message to the “Albanian causes before and after Hasan Pristina”, organised today by the Albanian Spiritual and Cultural Heritage Institute in Skopje, where he spoke of regional co-operation work with regional states in the region, stressing that Albanians are stronger only when [...]
Kurti did not physically participate in this activity until his message was made public by the prime minister's press office.
The message I want to deliver today is that of being close to each other, with joint projects, with coordination and work. Only when we get close to each other, will we be able to open up to our neighbors without risking”, Kurti wrote in his message, announces the prime minister's office.
The prime minister stressed that no Albanian politician should co-operate with crime, while saying the orientation of Albanians is west.
Our “Kahja is west, our allies are the United States and the EU, our legitimate aspirations is equality with other Balkan peoples and peaceful and democratic national union, and our most urgent task is to fight corruption and pave the way for economic development. The region gains long-term security and stability only from the condemnation and isolation of criminals, and none of the Albanian politicians should co-operate with crime”, Kurti said.
The head of the Kosovo government said partners are helping in the fight against the Russian-Chinese negative influences in the region.
Good times are coming for Albanians, but also for our neighbours, because our big partners are more determined than ever to help us in our fight for justice and democracy, but also against the Russian-Chinese negative influences in our cities and states, but also in the region. I am sure that Albanians, in all Balkan states where we live and act, will not lose this important historical moment”, Kurti has said.
These Kurti positions come at a time when much is being discussed about the regional co-operation initiative called “Open Balkan” initiated by Albania, Serbia and Northern Macedonia.
