Residents of this three have told Gazeta Express that, the KSF, along with the Kosovo Police and with American KFOR members, have removed residents of some parts of Rugova where the fire has drawn close to residence houses. They're headed for the town of Peja.

Firehouses have been opened in Rugova's area, while according to residents there, this time the flames are in the vicinity of homes. Express has also tried to get information from police about the situation with the fires in Rugova, but have not responded.

Meanwhile, Peja Mayor Gazmend Muharzier has called for officials only to visit areas where the fire cannot be controlled.

Muharnier has called on not to visit the area near the village of Shupef the Great, from Brodic's neck. Muharnier has said the situation with fires is being monitored by fire crews, KSF, Kosovo Police and KFOR helicopters unit.

Police appeal to citizens who in no way light fires, since they cannot be controlled and pose risks to both life and property. Defence Minister Armend Mehaj has said yesterday at a status that those who have caused the fires -- deliberately or thanks to their negligence -- will face justice organs.
