US KSF, KFOR mobilise to extinguish Kosovo fires

The Kosovo Security Force continues to be engaged with personnel and equipment in extinguishing fires that have included the Skopje Village area and the Suhareka municipality as a result of high temperatures that are prevalent in our country”, the KSF reports through a Facebook report.

The KSF reports that during these days, US KFOR has conducted several air interventions to stave out the fires.

The KSF's “Operational Readiness Team through the General Staff Centre has had good co-ordination and co-operation with the U.S. KFOR teams, which during these days carried out a series of air interventions, facilitating the decoupling and extinguishing of fire hears”.

Kosovo Security Force is ready to support civil authorities in order to minimize the risk and ease the consequences caused by the situation with the” fires, it is said further in the statement.

We remember from yesterday's fire station in several areas of Kosovo, but fortunately have been able to locate during the hours of the night.

Today, fires have resurfaced in the Suhareka municipality and Prizren.
