The opposition leader during his conversation with doctors and nurses was informed of their work and of the citizens' numerous demands for vaccination to the pirated-19 virus.
Health personnel in this municipality expressed concern over the lack of vaccines now and a few weeks.
On this occasion, the head of The PDK, Memli Krasniqi, has thanked the health staff for its unspoiled work during this time and has announced that it has sent a letter today to Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, through which it has re-cut the position that a greater commitment of the government and institutions is needed to fight pandemic.
I felt good to see an enthusiasm for the health staff today despite their difficulties. But I felt bad seeing no citizens vaccinated. This is evidence that we exactly the main weapon for fighting pandemics that are vaccines, today we don't have in Kosovo, which represents an alarm for the government first of all, but also for all of us. Concerns about the pandemic we've repeatedly expressed and that's why I've sent a letter to Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, where beyond the findings of the heavily burdened situation, I have reiterated the position that for fighting the pandemic we consider a greater commitment of the government and the” institutions, he said.
Leader of The PDK stressed that this is not a political battle, and the Democratic Party of Kosovo has consistently played an extremely important role in the drafting and voting of the Pandemia Law for Combating and Prevention, the Law for Economic Recovery, international agreements that have been in place of confrontation with pandemics.
We as a framework need to complete the holidays immediately, return MPs to their duties, and immediately review the budget to enable patients to provide medical supplies, health workers, actual meritive additions, and not charity of 2 euros a day, citizens emergency safety and hospitals because despite seeing a rule here that even KMF directors deserve recognition, but you as chairman. I believe there is a need for additional investments, especially in this pandemic situation, so I expect the prime minister to reflect on the letter I sent to him and move because there is constitutional and legal responsibility to invite the Assembly as soon as possible to make the necessary changes to the Budget Law and any other laws, for which the PDK throughout all the pandemic has been opposition, but has never been a member of the opposition in terms of civic interest, Krasniqi said.
Besim Ilazi, chairman of the Kacanik municipality, has said the current situation in Kacanik is under term due to lack of vaccines. Chairman Ilazi asked the chairman The PDK is subject to pressure from state organs so that as soon as vaccines come to the municipality of Kachanic and citizens are vaccinated. Yesterday's “Minister Vitita said we have 20 thousand vaccines in stock that actually 20,000 vaccines are in daylight. From the bad director, we've been told that it's been an extraordinary interest where 600 patients have managed to vaccinate, but because of the lack of vaccines, we don't have the scheduled term, and we're hoping that you as party leaders would pressure government organs to get vaccines in the cacan municipality as soon as possible because we're having pressure from them. They may even lose shelter in dormitories. We are hoping to overcome the situation we have, while for information we have had a meeting with the prime minister, which we have cancelled because we have been disappointed the mayors because the budget revision has gone to the central level without the preference of mayors. And the second, the government has made decisions and informed us of meetings. First he must have contacts with mayors. It was kind of a boycott we did to”, he said.
Dr. Sinan Elez, director of the KKMF in Kacanik, said the number of tests has dropped to 180, adding that the number of people to get the vaccine has dropped to 197 out of 570 as long as weeks ago. Dr. Elez asked the government and the Health Ministry to supply vaccines.
Last week's <x0) testing has been made. Now 150 or 80, depending on the interest. There were as many vaccines as 570 while 197 were vaccinated yesterday. So far in Kacanic about 17 thousand vaccines have been introduced in the first and second doses. The interest is extraordinary and I believe the government and the ministry will supply us with vaccine”, he stressed.
