Krasniqi thanks Hoxhaj for the work and respect of the principle to maintain only one position

Democratic Party of Kosovo Chairman Memli Krasniqi has thanked MP Enver Hoxhaj, who has decided to respect the principle of the PDK Convention for MPs not to hold double positions while also members of headship.

Krasniqi has written through his Facebook account that Professor Hoxhaj's approach to respecting this principle is very positive in support of reforms for new PDK victories.

PDK Chairman Memli Krasniqi's full statement:

I thank my friend, Professor Enver Hoxhaj, for his hard work and great contribution to the leadership of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, in particular for his work as president of PDK in difficult times for us and for Kosovo.

Although we had decided in the 10th Convention of the PDK that our deputies would only do the work in the Assembly, without holding double positions even at party chairmanship, in respect of his contribution and work, I have proposed Professor Hoxhaj to be part of the new chairmanship, but he has decided to fully respect the principle issued by the Convention, maintaining only the post of PDK deputy in the Assembly.

I thank him very much for this positive approach and for providing all the support he has given and will provide for the PDK's reforms and victories for Kosovo.
