CEC spokesman Valmir Elez has told Kosovo they have received positive answers and the co-operation agreement between these two institutions is expected to be signed in Tirana soon.
The recording cameras are scheduled to be used only at the Counting and Results Centre, so not at polling stations on election day.

The purpose of this loan is to use it at the Counting and Results Centre where the collection of all electoral material after election day takes place, as well as is the place where the compile of final results is made”, Elesi said.
According to the CEC, using these cameras would help them increase the integrity of the electoral process, as some important processes develop in this centre after election day, such as counting conditional votes and voting by mail, and becoming the eventual recount of any polling.
