In recent days the region has been engulfed by numerous fires, resulting in hot weather and citizens' carelessness.

And as Albania, Turkey and Greece and other countries are struggling with fires now and many days, during yesterday's day in some parts of Kosovo some fires have been presented.

Initially, the fire was presented at an area of 200 hectares in Suhareka. After that, there was also reported fire on the mountain in front of the village of Llykovica, in Ravan, Prizren, until another hotbed of fire broke out in Oshlak, facing Prevala.

As well as the village of Kostunica and Vlachia in the municipality of Mitrovica was involved in the fire during the hours of last afternoon.

Mayor Agim Bahtiri was on the scene to see the situation closely. Even in the village of Guchka in the Ferizaj municipality, part of the mountain has been engulfed by fire, Olgraphy writes.

Firemen came out at the scene and located the fire.

Firefighters' teams and KSF specialised units in co-operation with KFOR now, and several days are struggling with fires in Rugova, Pec.

Days ago in Rugova's forest area, new hot spots were presented, but new sites appeared during yesterday.

Defence Minister Armend Mehaj has indicated that they are making extraordinary efforts to locate new sites that have emerged, especially in the evening by the emerging winds that are making it difficult to locate them.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development has stated that they will review the pronunciation of measures towards all who are burning the hamulor in Kosovo.

The MBPHR has called on farmers to stop practicing burning agricultural waste after harvest.
