Kosovo fireman erupts at state leaders: You left us in the most difficult situation

Facing massive fires in Kosovo in recent days has turned attention to a very important category of state workers, firefighters. The latter, though long forgotten by the state, have been at the front front line with fires and growing hearth [...]

The latter, although left in oblivion by the state long ago, during these days have been at the front front line with fires and sites growing day-to-day.

Rrustem Uka, a member of the Kosovo Fire Brigade, has expressed his indignation at state leaders over the visits these are making to firefighters, while on the other hand this category has remained without institutional attention.

He has said through a Facebook post that state leaders with full awareness have left the firemen in the most difficult situation possible, while justifying themselves under the argument that “this issue will soon be settled”.

“Prime Minister, Minister of the MP, Director of AMEs and Chairman of the Towns of Kosovo deserve security, while our families deserve well-being as well as yours!”, Uka wrote.

This is his full post:

How ashamed they are to the state and institutional leaders to visit the Professional Units for Fire and Salvation, when they knowingly left this category in the most difficult situation possible.
The shame seems to have found the solution by justifying the <x0m to regulate your laughter quickly”.
Prime Minister, Minister of the MP, Director of AME and Mayor of Kosovo citizens deserve security, and our families deserve well-being, just like yours!
