Police reportedly injured is a 40-year-old person, while the event took place on “Nation witness”.
The victim was rushed to Mitrovica Regional Hospital and then sent to KKUK.
Police announcement:
“Today about 11:00, the police in South Mitrovica have accepted the tip of firing shots on the nation's Witnesses' Street. Upon accepting the information, all necessary police units have emerged at the scene of the emergency event.
From the first information from the site of the event is found that, as a result of gunfire, a male victim aged 40 has been injured, who has been rushed to the Regional Hospital in Mitrovica, then sent to KKUK-Pristina.
From examinations conducted at the scene, crime-technical investigators as material evidence have found a (1) shelling, a (1) lead shell, and a pistol weapon allegedly used by the suspect. In connection with the case, a suspected person has been arrested, who, at the prosecutor's decision, has been pronounced the detention measure for 48 hours.
The investigative course is continuing towards dawning all circumstances related to the case of a serious murder case in the attempted”.
