The Kosovo government has decided to hold the official holiday on June 24th, which is marked as the Egyptian Day as well as the 25th July day on which police officers are remembered.
“Finally proposed to add two memorial days: Egyptian Day on June 24th and Day of the New Police at the Chief of Task on July 26,” wrote Kurti on Facebook.
These two government proposals will go to the Parliament to vote as a complement of the Law for Official Holidays.
The government also approved the Action Plan for the implementation of the Agency for European Reform (ERA II).
This document defines the actions of reforms to implement the second phase of political priorities agreed on between the European Union and the Republic of Kosovo for the process of integration of the Republic of Kosovo into the EU. These priorities serve in meeting the prior obligations even in the Stabilisation and Association Agreement (MSA).
ERA II's priorities have been negotiated by the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and the European Commission, and have been launched by the prime minister and Commissioner for Business and Enlargement Policy. They will be implemented through this two-year action plan.
