(5 years ago)The government of the Republic of Kosovo has held the electronic collection in which it has approved the decision to establish the committee for co-ordination and assessment of the situation with COVIDD-19 pandemic in the country. The decision comes a day after the National Security Council meeting, which met due to the high number of cases and deaths of COVID-19.
According to the Government's announcement, the committee for co-ordination and assessment of the situation with the COVID-19 pandemic will have this composition:
1. Dr. Arben Vitita, Headmaster;
2. Ministry of Internal Affairs (MPB), Deputy Chairman;
3. Office of the President of the Republic of Kosovo, member;
4. Mehdi Sejdiu, adviser to the first Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, member;
5. Prof. Dr. Naser Ramadani, member;
6. Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspore (MPJD), member;
7. Ministry of Finance, Labour and Transfers (MFPT), member;
8. Ministry of Justice (MD), member;
9. Defence ministry (MM), member;
10. Health Ministry (MSH), member;
11. Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and innovation (MASHTI), member;
Twelve. Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MKRS), member;
13. Local Power Management Ministry (MAPL), member;
14. Environment Ministry, Space Planning and Infrastructure (MMPHI), member;
15. Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development (MBPZHR), member;
16. Ministry of Industry, Enterprise and Trade (MINT), member;
17. Economy Ministry (ME), member;
18. Ministry for Communities and Kthim (MKK), member;
Nineteen. Regional Development Ministry (MZHR), member;
20. Food and Veterinary Agency, member;
21. Kosovo Agency for Intelligence, member;
22. Kosovo police, member;
23. Council for Security, member;
24. Emergency Management Agency, member;
25. Hospital service and Kosovo University Clinic (SHSKUK), member;
26. Market Inspectorate / (MINT), member;
27. I'm going to send you a representative, State Attorney's Office, member.
Also, according to the announcement, the secretary general of the Health Ministry will appoint the committee's secretariat, while this committee imposes on municipalities to establish under municipal committees with the aim of preventing and fighting pandemic.
The Ministry of Health in close co-operation with all other entities will take all necessary actions to manage and control the COVID-19 pandemic.
