At today's cabinet meeting, Health Minister Arben Vitita has said the proposal for continuing Bardiqi's mandate is based on its performance.
He has said that the Ministry of Health notes that in each link of administration organisation is the presence of responsibility and internal accountability.
“Proposed the decision to continue Mr. Naim Bardiqi's mandate as secretary-general at the Ministry of Health is based on its excellent performance in all aspects of administrative management and supervision. Dr. Naim Bardiqi has also shown performance in managing and monitoring mechanisms responsible for the vaccine and pandemic in general, including institutional and inter-institution co-ordination. What is now noted at the Ministry of Health, in each case of administration organisation, is the presence of responsibility and internal accountability”, he said.
The year has indicated that the appointment of Bardiqi in the position of the secretary general creates stability and institutional stability which, according to him, are extremely necessary at this point in managing the vaccine and pandemic process as a whole.
We remember that Bardiqi was fired from the secretary's post when Armendi Zemaj headed the Ministry of Health.
Once Minister Arben Vitita took over, he had returned to his position.
