Gevahire Izak leaves the PDK, tells why

Former PDK delegation Xhevahire Izmaku has resigned from the party, whose party has now been 20 years old.

Izmacus, who has been a PDK deputy in several legislatures, has announced on Facebook that the reason for leaving the party is that she no longer believes in the vision and project of the now opposition party, Periscope broadcasts.

Izzak has announced it is resigning from all positions it has held so far in the structures of the Democratic Party.

Dear PDK members and voters!

Dear PDK members branch in Vushtrri!

Today I have to write the most unwanted status in my political life for 20 years!

I am resigning and leaving the PDK, starting with:

• Surrender from the position of member of the Steering Council;
• Deputy chairman of the PDK branch in Vushtrri and eventually from being-
• PDK member!

Dear friends, supporters and citizens,

As you know most of you, I've grown up and educated by respecting human values.

I was formed in the spirit of the homeland, so after the end of our glorious war, I was listed with the country's best men and women for the creation of the Democratic Party of Kosovo.

I have believed and contributed with the greatest love and sincerity to the PDK project since its establishment, the same as in the house of my father Adam. Twenty-one years of common travel, rising and falling along with PDK and its best people.

Along my 20-year journey with the PDK, I've learned that being in a big party, except for privilege, is also a challenge, both in a conceptual sense and also a container.

In a conceptual sense, The PDK for me was home to political formation, in which it was formed with the political features of people who, their sacrifice for freedom of country, transformed it into a challenge to build the state.

I started as a spokeswoman for the Vushtrri municipality, an assemblyist of the PDK, deputy mayor of the municipality, then deputy on three mandates.

All of my journey, Kosovo, Vushtrri and my voters, has brought many benefits and projects in general goods.

Often during this long political journey, even my life and my family have been in danger, but never and no one has managed to undermine my grand goal, representation and protection of the interests of Kosovo and my voters.

I'm proud of my every political act, and that pride will hold it to my last breath.

I regret to inform you that today I resign from all PDK structures and functions. The decision to leave the house that I built myself was not an easy one, but our roads are divided here because I no longer believe in the PDK project and vision and my further contribution there, it would not be sincere.

The voters of the PDK and my supporters, I bow down and thank you eternally, in the desire to meet again under better circumstances.
