But this decision applies only to the rejection of vaccines, since for the rest of the unexcused, such as minors and youth under the age of 18, and pregnant women, for whom vaccines are not necessarily recommended, tests will continue to be free, writes DW.
The cost of a test will depend on the bidder. So far, the German state had restored test providers up to 18 euros for an antigen test. As of July 1st, this reimbursement dropped to 11.50 euros per test.
Anyone who wants to have a full defense by autumn should start by vaccinating now, the decision of the countries and the federation says.
Meanwhile from August 23rd onward, the so-called 3G rule will be applied, meaning that access to closed environments is permitted only for vaccinated, negatively tested or healed.
Who is not vaccinated or cured recently by the coronary virus will enter hospitals, care centres for the elderly, churches, sports gyms, hotels, restaurants, only negative tests.
So far, 45.8 million citizens have been vaccinated, or 55.1 per cent of residents, in Germany.
