Maas claimed that people who worked with German military forces in Afghanistan, human rights activists and citizens with dual Afghan-German citizenship will make up the majority of the people Germany wants to withdraw from Afghanistan.
We want as many people out of the country as possible,” Maas told the media.
The German minister said NATO allies misjudged the situation when they thought Afghan government forces could defeat the Taliban, Reuters reports.
