Fires in Vlora, human evacuation required

The defence minister in Albania, Niko Peleshi, along with 40 troops of the Armed Forces, has moved to the Geomm area in Vlora, where the situation is presented as alarming because of the fire involvement of residences and stables. He says he has asked regional police director to evacuate residents with the aim of avoiding danger. [...]
I had to secede with a relatively large number of troops, of 40, because we have a relatively difficult situation. The helicopter has been working for about two hours to put out the fire from the east and is now stretching because the wind is terribly unappreciated today. We still have residents in the village. I just closed a call with the Regional Director of Police and re-focused the need for quick evacuation of all people. First to keep people out of danger and then their property”, Pelesi said in a statement from the Vlora River area on the situation of fires.
According to Pelesh, the battle of all these days has been to avoid touching the flames of Llogara Park and the inhabited areas.
We've brought two firemen from the Armed Forces. Another one is coming from Vlora City Hall. Forty troops, as I said, arrive from moment to time by the Armed Forces and we will hope, but we work to avoid the worst. We are in the midst of dangerous situations, mostly in Vlora County, but we also have expansion throughout Albania. Yesterday we avoided, even with the support of the Air Force in Bears, touching residences. Today, we are very busy and concerned with little opportunity to interfere with Karaburun's section, bordering the park of Llogora. Our battle of all these warmer days has been right there to avoid touching the park. But let's take the time and resources needed here now, we have them engaged, to the villages in the residential area. Very close to the residential area here in the municipality of Selenica in the villages of Gjerme and Gumenica”, Pelesh said. / K SP
