State broadcaster, T RT Haber, said one person died of heart attack in the northern province of Bart, and emergency team workers are looking for another missing person.
Thirteen people were injured after a bridge collapsed on Bart, while power cuts are in 12 villages, said the Presidency for Disaster Management and Emergency Management.
In Sinop province, about 150 miles [240 km] east of Bartin province, a house collapsed by floods, and cars were trapped in water, writes ReutersReport Express.
Disaster management authorities said a hospital is being evacuated and several roads have closed in Sinop, warning that heavy rainfall in the area is expected to continue.
Turkey's northern part is sensitive to rapid flooding in the summer, when rainfall is particularly powerful. Last year, at least five people died of flooding in that region.
Otherwise, Turkey faced devastating fires in the southern part a few days ago, which caused victims, burning thousands of acres of forest and other material damage.
