Next fired by Albin Kurti is AUVA deputy chief

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has dismissed the deputy head of the Food and Veterinary Agency (AUV), Naser Krasniqi, as according to Kurti, this position had no legal basis.

According to a media report, the Law for Public Officials reportedly does not envision the position of AUV deputy chief, which Krasniqi held and was entrusted with the leadership of this agency.

“Consequently, with the goal of ensuring the implementation of the rule and the law, the prime minister has abolished the decision that has lost the legal base and has appointed the new task manager of AUV chief”, said in the communiqué.

After that decision, Kurt has authorized Flamur Kadriun, currently director of the Public Service Directorate within the AUV, to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the chief chief of this agency, until it announces the results of the competition for the new appointment at the helm of AUV.
