Erdogan is standing for a one-day visit to Montenegro after staying in the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The first of the Turkish state has also met with Deputy Prime Minister Dritan Abazovic, who had welcomed him at Podgorica Airport.

Erdogan said he hoped Turkey-Montenegro would overcome the trade crisis caused by pandemic.

“250 million is the goal when it comes to trade, which we set out at the meeting and on which we will continue to work. The Turkish private sector exists in Montenegro, and our country is in the first ten countries to invest in Montenegro. He stressed that the Balkans are important for Europe “Montenegro continues to respect peaceful time activities and we should congratulate on the significant steps your country is taking towards EU integration. We hope that soon he will become a member of the European Union”, Rtcg reports.

President Milo Djukanovic said the “relations between Montenegro and Turkey are friendly. Interstate relations have been developed, and thanks to Montenegro's NATO membership, we have become partners”.

“A hand extended co-operation to all who respect our country”, Abazovic wrote on Twitter.

Otherwise, Erdogan was on a visit to the Bosnian state as he opened a mosque and was the man-dweller of a wedding.
