Emergency Management Agency provides Kosovo fire situation information

This agency has said that the situation on the ground is presented as manageable, though it is said that a serious threat remains the fire displayed from August 5th in the municipality of the Year.

The number of fires in all of the country's territory is on the decline, while the serious threat remains the fire spread from August05th 2021 in the New Town of the Year, where all available capacities in the respective municipality operate, while in assistance as needed are made available to neighboring municipalities such as Gjilan, Ferizaj and Kamenica. Situation in Kosovo fire management

From reports of the Emergency Communication System XOE 112 (unique emergency number) reached the Emergency Management Agency Operational Centre- QO AME in the last 24 hours, the situation on the ground is presented as manageable by operational facilities for fire and rescue in all Kosovo municipalities.

The number of fires in all of the country's territory is on the decline, while a serious threat remains the fire spread from August05, 2021, in the municipality of the Year, the New Village, where all available capacities at the respective municipality are operating, while we help as the neighboring municipalities as needed are made available, as well as Gjilan, Ferizaj and Kamenica. The situation in Nemun's National Bjeshca Park was administragated by local capacity.

Pristina region, the Pristina municipality two fires spread in the Marigona and Barilles neighbourhood are localised as a whole, the Crenasis Community, the supreme localised Zabel Village; Lipjan, Flash. Lugugagji and Fsh. Localised fire hole, ; Obilic, Fsh, Hamid, localised field fire, ; Shtime, Fsh. Godanco, target fire.

Prizren region, Komuna Prizren, Fsh. Mosshnikov and Fesh. Hasi's experience eliminated fires. Malish, Ash. Vermice and Fesh. Pagans, locate fires. Rahovec, Ash. Ratkoc completely extinguished; Dragash, there is none; Mamusa, field fire located.

Mitrovica South and North Mitrovica, currently have none of the municipalities on fire.

As a result, Emergency Management Agency (AME) in co-ordination with the Interior Ministry Operational Centre monitors the situation 24/7 and co-ordinates local level support.

As a result of the response of professional fire and rescue units (NJPZSH) has been reported on some body injuries to firefighters but fortunately not at risk for life. The Emergency Management Agency appeals to all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo for increased care at temperature hikes, to avoid lighting fires, and to report fires as quickly as possible in the unique 911 emergency rate.
