Central Election Commission member from the Vetevendosje Movement Sami Kurteshi spoke about yesterday's incident in the CEC facility where he was involved.

He said he had thrown out a masked person who was in the CEC corridor, meanwhile said there was neither reproach nor insults nor any assault on him.

Otherwise, Kosovo police have detailed yesterday's incident at the Central Election Commission, where it is suspected that an official of this institution was attacked because of failing to wear the mask, by CEC member Sami Kurteshi from LVV.

The victim reportedly has been pushed and removed from the corridor by the suspect after not wearing a mask.

Two witnesses have also been interviewed in the case.

Meanwhile, Kurteshi yesterday for Express, said reports that he attacked someone in the CEC are lies.

Kurteshi is known in public for his fierce debates with other members of the CEC.

Kurteshi, before being placed in the position of member of the CEC, was an MP for the Kosovo Assembly during 2017-2019.
