Just two days longer for political subjects to apply for local elections

The last subject to have submitted the application by the end of working hours on Saturday is the Serbian List party, which has applied for certificate in several different Kosovo municipalities.

CEC spokesman Valmir Elezi has made known to Kosova priss, that this institution will expect applications even today, while adding that there are 28 political subjects that have submitted their application so far.

Until the end of working hours on Saturday, the CEC has accepted applications from 28 political subjects, of which 6 political parties, 9 civic initiatives and 13 independent candidates. The overall number of candidates of these political subjects is: 24 candidates for the mayors of the municipalities, and 470 candidates for the Municipal Countries”, Elez said.

According to him, the deadline for application is August 16th, at 4: 00 p.m.

1. The Civic Movement Vatra has applied for certificate in the elections for the Comune Mayor and the Municipal Assembly in Gjilan;
