The Albanian government has started preparations to wait within a few days around 400 Afghans who have co-operated with NATO, and today are at risk of Taliban taking power.
ABC reports that their temporary shelter will be between Tirana and Durres, while financial costs are projected to be met by Albania.
Afghan citizens who will be accommodated in our country have worked with the United States and NATO over the years, as well as activists, while thought to be the target of Taliban revenge after the latter took power.
The Albanian government's decision to accept Afghans was welcomed by the US.
