CNN has fired three employees who violated company policy by coming to work unexplored against Coddy-19.
Jeff Zucker, president of the media company, fired employees from work with a memo sent Thursday that reminded them that vaccines were mandatory if they reported to the office or on ground where they came in contact with other employees.
Let me be clear. We have zero tolerance for this,” Zucker wrote, head of news and sports for WinterMedia, Klankosova.tv reports.
CNN's leader said the masks will be sought at the offices of Atlanta, Washington and Los Angeles when people do not eat, drink, or in a closed private space. Even in offices where wearing masks is not imposed, people must do what they feel comfortable about them without fear of revenge or judgment by colleagues”, he said.
CNN's memo also said a planned return of the company to the office on 7 September would be postponed until at least the beginning of October. Other media companies have made similar decisions because of increased COVID-19 cases.
