Delays in the construction of Pristina's Muharrem Fejza Street are not caused by KEDS. Rather, KEDS is a victim in the case, as it has damaged the infrastructure located there.
We as a company have long announced the Pristina municipality, that their contractor and the contractor of Thermokos are damaging our existing infrastructure, but unfortunately nothing has been taken over.
As a result, injuries from these contractors are huge.
In the official letter KED has sent to the Pristina municipality on July 2nd, he had detailed the case. We as a company have asked the municipality for contractors to get the network back to its original state, namely, to make the supply and placing of pipes furthered by the same number as they have been and also to do the reconstruction of the wells in those places where they're being damaged. This requirement, which is also a legal obligation, directly affecting the power supply of that section of the capital, came to be in deaf ears.
Furthermore, within the investment projects that we are carrying out in Pristina region and with particular emphasis in the MATTIT area, we planned very quickly to functioning the 20kV exits from NS Pristina 7 and Pristina 2, but this damage to our infrastructure has created irreparable obstacles that will affect the completion of our project, as well as our commitments to the removal of all the airlines that lie along this road.
That would be very easy and soon, as KEDS had ready infrastructure and would also place electricity networks on existing tubes.
Now, KED is facing infrastructure destroyed by irresponsible contractors, which, instead of returning them to their former condition, we are forced to do it because thousands of consumers need electricity services.
The destruction of the electric infrastructure is also seen in the photos attached.
