At least 48 others were injured in the accident that took place early this morning in the town of Szabadbattian, not far from the town of Szekesfehervar.
Among the injured are some who are in danger of life.
The Hungarian license bus was turned around about 4:55 a.m.
Hungarian police said they have launched investigations into the causes leading up to the bus crash and the bus crash on a highway bridge.
