British Study: The effect of vaccines falls within three months

A study in the United Kingdom has noted that 90 days after injecting two doses of vaccines efficiency to the Delta version fell 75% to those who had taken Pfizer and 61% to those who had received AstraZeneca.
These two vaccines were effective 93% and 71% two weeks after taking both doses.
The study has noted that declining efficiency was more remarkable at the age of over 35.
Experts, however, say vaccines remain effective against most of the COVID-19 variants.
“The two vaccines continue to provide good protection against Delta infection,” is highlighted in the study.
The study was conducted by the University of Oxford and the National Statistics Office in Great Britain.
The subject of the study was data analysis between two periods under the pandemic, with Alpha and Delta version of the virus.
None of the vaccines were seen to be as effective against the Alpha version, which was first spotted in the United Kingdom in September 2020.
Researchers also said there was not enough data on the Moderna vaccine, which envisions only one dose. The study, however, says that against the version Delta “a dose of this vaccine has similar effectiveness or slightly greater efficiency than a single dose of other vaccines”.
Researchers could not predict how fast the protection from infection can fall over time.
The outcome of this study supports calls for an additional dose against those who were previously vaccinated with two doses.
On Wednesday, the US said it would give additional Pfizer or Modernna doses to those who were vaccinated earlier, with an 8-month period of time.
Israel has already started to vaccinate with a third dose of age groups over 50.
O The BSH has cautioned the rush of states to give a third dose of population, while other states that have not had access to vaccines have been left behind with injections and have millions of people who have not received any doses.
Until today, according to <x0.0ur World in Data” about 32% of the world has received an anti-venin dose - CO VID.
