He says he comes from that city and that he will try to use all his experience for good local government. He has also spoken of his stronghold as he said he was a deputy who served as commander in Kostunica and that at the time of the defence minister's transformation of KSF into the military began.
I'm from Peja City and I was born there. It's a city of culture, of sports of civilization, and trade. I've wanted my whole experience and commitment to a good government with a professional team at the right time and place. I am a military man and have served in many duties for freedom and then in establishing institutions. I was commander in the battle of Koshara, the duty I am proud of. Two years I have been an MP and the last task is that I have been the first defence minister, and the transformation of Kosovo into the army has begun on my mandate, he said.
Local elections will be held on 17 October in Kosovo. Candidates for the Peja municipality are Gazmend Muharnier of LDK, Astrit Ademiaj from the PDK, while the VV has still not declared any candidate from any municipality.
