Independent Private Sector Union Chairman Yusuf Azemi at a news conference has said private sector workers are despised by the government.
He has said that as a result of the law's failure to provide a large part of the private sector are leaving work and taking the unwanted orientation to go into exile.
And some of them are leaving because their salary cannot cover expenses. Many companies are being shut down in the absence of workers. The government is saying we have economic growth for 7 percent but we care why we don't have minimum wage increases, why it sanctions and blackmails private sector workers. Until we have to work for both the public sector and the Serbs in the north. No employee at 80 percent of the companies we have visited has more than 12 days of annual vacation. The government further exacerbated the state of the private sector of the bloc's production activity with the removal of the tax for importing the blocs, and in particular the removal of the tax on Serbia. Owners have begun to reduce the number of workers, and several block factories for a short time should close their productivity”, he said.
Azem has reminded Prime Minister Albin Kurti of some promises he says he failed to fulfill.
He has said Kurti has promised minimum 350 euros wage, and is not even being discussed about it, has promised to sign the collective agreement, increase the number of job inspectors, pay for the job's loss due to pandemic, dialogue with the private sector that has been trumpeted, and according to him has not accomplished anything of that.
“over this period we lost 10 private sector workers, congratulate them on the day of the official holiday for Kosovo police officers, but I ask the prime minister that for private workers, he should not have a day. We have one request to consider, now the pandemic has taken on great momentum, we believe that additional incentives for school technical workers and health institutions. We are disappointed with the government's cooperation and movements in relation to the private sector are zero”, it has added further.
