Ariph Vladi: I would agree to sing with Bregovic in Belgrade, his songs, mine for Kosovo

Renowned Albanian singer Arif Vladi says he would never sing with Serbian singer Goran Bregovic in no country in Albania, but Vlad, known for many patriotic songs, says he has no problem singing his, patriotic songs in Belgrade. I would like to sing in Belgrade, [...]
But Vlad, known for many patriotic songs, says he has no problem singing his, patriotic songs in Belgrade.
I and Bregovic would agree to sing in Belgrade, where he would sing Serbian and I would sing Kosovo's songs in Albanian, but in Albania never, not”, Vlad told Infocus Gazette.
He added that the only condition to sing with him in Albania is only if he first sang songs for Kosovo in Belgrade.
“S first should invite us to Belgrade, to sing our songs, and let him sing his songs, but in Belgrade at first, only these conditions I had accepted”, Vladi declared.
He said a concert by the Serbian singer was scheduled to be held in Albania even before and immediately after the Kosovo war.
The event had taken place in Durres during the summer, where singer Goran Bregovic was also invited from private business to sing.
Vladi indicated that he and some of his colleagues had opposed this and had organised another concert very close to where the Bregovict performance was planned.
He added that with the help of several Kosovo businessmen, their grand concert was held and started half an hour before that of the Serbian singer.
“Public was all there with us, where then singer Goran Bregovic was forced not to hold the concert at all”, Vladi relates.
Goran Bregovic is invited to “Beer Party” in Korca, which will be held from 18-22 August. The Serbian singer has been invited on the last night, where he will also conclude this festival. A large number of artists from Albania and Kosovo have cancelled participation in the festival due to the Serbian singer Goran Bregovic's presence. Despite numerous objections the Koce municipality has insisted that Bregovic will sing his songs at the festival.
